Helsinn invites proposals for independent educational projects/activities and may provide funding in the form of Educational Grants to support legitimate and independent educational activities that are in line with our company’s therapeutic areas of interest.
Helsinn is committed to funding programs that communicate the most current disease awareness, medical and scientific information to the healthcare and medical community to improve patient care.
Educational grant support will be considered for any scientific, educational or professional program, meeting or event that is organized, controlled, and conducted by an independent third party, including but not limited to, accredited and non-accredited medical education (CME and non-CME) for HCPs and/or patients, disease awareness, or medical conferences.
Educational grants that are awarded must be in accordance with Helsinn’s policies, applicable laws and regulations, the PhRMA and EFPIA Codes and ACCME (or other major accreditation councils) for accredited programs.
Funding requests for live presentations, written enduring materials, online courses, and conference symposia from organizations (e.g.: hospitals, universities, societies, medical-education vendors) will be reviewed and assessed in conjunction with Helsinn’s goal to help physicians and other healthcare professionals to obtain information and insights that contribute to the improvement of patient care in oncology supportive care and therapeutics.
Disease states and areas of interest considered can include, but are not limited to the following:
- Chemotherapy Induced Nausea and Vomiting (CINV)
- Mycosis Fungoides Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma (MF-CTCL)
- Cancer Cachexia-Anorexia
- NSCLC Treatment with RET Inhibitors
- Rare Tumors
- Quality of Life in Cancer
- Patient Education (in Helsinn areas of interest)
